This week in Social Studies:
Monday: We will complete all notes on Western Africa and review for our African Unit Test.
HOMEWORK: Begin studying for test. Magnet Summary over article on the Collapse of Mali and Songhai (on Edmodo or paper copy).
Tuesday: Analyze the Bantu-migrations, by completing a team Travel Guide.
HOMEWORK: Define/identify all terms for African Unit Test.
Wednesday: Students will trace the development of the Shona and Mutapa Empires by completing a guided reading template looking for main ideas and details.
HOMEWORK: Study for test on Monday.
Thursday: Analyze the Kongo Kingdom through oral reading and class discussion.
We will review all terms for test.
Friday: Current event presentations. Review by playing the game, "Who Has the First Word?"
