Summer!

It's summer time!! Yeah! I hope you are all enjoying your time off from school.  I am looking forward to enjoying my time to read, reflect, and prepare for the next school year.  I am excited to meet my new students next year!  Stay safe this summer.

LAST WEEK!

Can you believe it? We are at the last week of school! We have made it! Finish strong this week, work hard!
STUDY FOR THE FINAL ON TUESDAY.
Note:  Honors Assembly on Wednesday at 11:30 in the gym.

Monday:  Meet in Lab 112 for the EOC (End of Course district assessement).  Student survey for honest feedback for the year.
Homework::  STUDY FOR FINAL ON TUESDAY!

Tuesday:  FINAL EXAM!
Homework: None

Wednesday:  US Geography activity to prepare for 8th grade.  Honors Assembly at 11:30.  Team Awards in the afternoon.
Homework:  None

Thursday:  Write letters for the new 7th graders coming up.  Have a great LAST day!!

Week of May 6-10

This week in Social Studies:

Monday:  We will explore the Mayans and the Aztecs by viewing a Discovery Education short video, and using the literacy strategy, Write It, Say It.
Homework:  The City of Tenochtitlan Article and questions.

Tuesday:  We will explore the Incas and use a venn diagram to compare and contrast the Mesoamericans.
Homework:  Complete the venn if not completed in class.

Wednesday:  We will review for the EOC in Social Studies.  This is a district assessment and will be recorded through the district.  Students will be given a Final Exam study guide.
Homework:  Study for the Final Exam for Tuesday, May 15th.

Thursday:  Current event presentations.  Complete study guides.
Homework:  Study!

Friday:  Fieldtrip to Ozark Community Center!

END OF COURSE DISTRICT ASSESSMENT WILL BE ON MONDAY, MAY 14TH.
