Week of 8/29-Sept 2

We had a great start for the beginning of the year! I am enjoying getting to know each of my students.

This week in Social Studies:

Monday: Information Sheet/Interest Survey and Procedures Paragraphs
Tuesday: Textbooks were given out and covered in class. ALL texts must be covered by Friday.
Wednesday: Textbook Scavenger Hunt (due Thursday if not complete in class)
Thursday: New Friend Scavenger Hunt
Friday: How do you Learn Survey and discuss the multiple intelligences.

Supplies Needed:
1 inch 3 ring binder with 5 divider tabs
Textbook covered
colored pencils
Planner

First Day!

The first day of school went great! I enjoyed meeting the students today. I think the students are on "information overload" though. It will be a great year!

Please check the packet of information and the district handbook, sign necessary documents and return to school.
The students worked on Information Sheets today, and we will finish them Friday.
Bring 1 inch binder with 5 divider tabs labeled the following:
Daily Geo
Daily Work
Notes
Quizzes
Extra

Place paper between each section. We will begin using these on Monday.
Computer Exploratory: 1 folder with pockets.
