Tuesday: Write a letter as if you were a crew member on a ship. Review all vocabulary.
Wednesday: The Age of Exploration video from Discovery using Write it-Say it strategy.
Thursday: Discovery streaming: Magellan-Circumnavigation with notes/questions.
Friday: Current Event presentations, guided reading questions for Exploration Unit.
Homework: Begin to study for the test. Get study guide signed.

REMINDER: Map testing is the week of April 16-18. Please be prepared to do the best you can by eating a good breakfast and getting enough rest.
This week in Social Studies:
Monday: Counselor visit!
Homework: None
Tuesday: Ch. 15, Lesson 2. We will examine the new scientific theories and discoveries of the 17th century. We will complete a circle chart for information, and take a quiz for understanding.
Homework: None
Wednesday: PPT notes, constructed response questions from text pages 496-507.
Homework: CR questions if not completed in class.
Thursday: We will trace the shift of European interest from exploration of Asia to the Americas. Review activity of scientists and their inventions. Students will define terms and names for the explorers.
Friday; No school for students.
Have a great LONG weekend!
